By accessing or using Traders Journal ("the Service"), operated by Traders Journal ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Traders Journal is a web-based trading journal application that allows users to log trades, track performance metrics, analyze strategies, and generate reports. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with optional paid subscription plans.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers a free tier with limited functionality (up to 25 trades per month) and a paid Pro plan with additional features. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
• Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all trade data, journal entries, notes, and other content you submit to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is a trade journaling tool and does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals. All analytics, metrics, and insights are based solely on data you provide and are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Past performance data logged in the Service does not guarantee future results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traders Journal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service downtime.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
